The Big Give
This is by far one of my favourite Christmas so far. Spent my Christmas lunch volunteering at St Mary’s House of Welcome , Fitzroy Town Hall.
The Big Give brings together over 300 isolated and disadvantaged people to celebrate a delicious lunch and all the festivities of Christmas.
The idea for The Big Give came from a group of individuals from community organisations and the business sector and now proudly run under the auspices of St Mary’s House of Welcome.
The Big Give has just one Christmas wish – that no one be left alone on Christmas Day.
Such an amazing experience, just to see everyone happy made my Christmas Day awsomeeeeeeee.
Wants to use this opportunity to say thank you for your support and following my Facebook page and blog, it has been such an amazing year and I'm sure looking forward to 2014.
