SHE Banquet 2015

Went out last night to what I call a night of exotic display of femininity. 

 it was a gathering of women from all works of life who shared one common aspiration which is coming to gather to talk about ways to better themselves as women and also make positive input in the lives of women around the world. Last night, Pastor Karen Malcolm of South West Church spoke extensively about their  community service development project currently been carried out in India which involved helping widows and Orphans make something out of their lives…. since this is one area am very passionate about it was so easy to relate with all she said. 

The night didn't just end with serious talks but we had the opportunity to donate to support the project and many other things they were working on and also lots of food, dancing and sure lots of pictures.

so glad I went.

One On One With Thando Sikwila

Thando Sikwila made such a huge impact on The Voice during her blind audition. The beautiful 21 year old wowed the coaches and audience with her soulful blind audition. Thando is already well along the path to her future, singing in two bands- reggae outfit Echo Drama and a R&B Five piece.

We had an extensive chat on growing up , role of music in her family, The Voice and impact it has had on her career.

The Pointi Skirt
